SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:

The workshop will provide you with the fundamental knowledge required for the safe routine handling of routine specimens from VHF patients.

  • Infection control practices for VHF sample processing in a pathology laboratory (Dr. T Thomas)
  • Adapting a routine lab for VHF sample processing and lessons learnt (D. Schnugh)
  • Donning and doffing of high level (Ebola) PPE (JP von Benecke)
